Is Your BMW Ready For Spring?

Spring is the season of new beginnings. With spring beginning in the month of March, we want to remind you that there are always some preventative measures you can take to show your BMW some love.

After a winter season, your car could have experienced some undetectable damages that you could have easily missed, such as freezing engine fluids, dying car battery, decreased tire pressure, and so on. That is why we are here to give you some great tips to have your car ready for spring!

  1. Schedule an oil change: How long has it been since your car received an oil change? Getting your oil changed might be an obvious tip but oil changes after a winter season are extremely important because it gives your car an optimal chance for longevity and performance.

  2. Have your battery tested: Getting your car battery tested is a great way to do preventative maintenance for your BMW as it gives power to all the onboard electrical systems. What happens if your car battery is not optimal due to the winter season? A dead or dying battery can lead you stranded, and no one wants that!

  3. Have your tire tread checked: It is important to have your tire pressure checked, but it is also essential that you specifically get your tire tread checked too. If your tires don't pass the tire tread test, it might be time to get a new set!

  4. Check those fluids: We recommend getting your car's brake, transmission, power steering, and windshield wiper fluids checked because wintertime decreases them faster than other seasons. The good news is that it is unlikely all of these fluids need to be filled if you have kept a good maintenance routine!
